CRJ200 Weight and Balance Load Planning Tool: This is a planning-only tool for CRJ200 pilots to help resolve loading issues before the passenger boarding begins for each flight. It mimics the CRJ 200 Load Manifest form and gives a GO or NO-GO advisory for each situation along with an estimated minimum and maximum cargo weight limit for a hypothetical passenger count of 45 to 50, given the entered data. Any out-of-bounds parameters will be flagged in red.
This application is advisory only and is not a legal substitute for an official manual or ACARS Load Manifest. Since this tool’s purpose is to plan for overweight conditions, if no Passenger Index Number (PIN) is entered, it assumes the most rearward CG by placing all empty seats near the front of the aircraft. Therefore, a passenger zone count or PIN is not required for planning.
NOTES:
-- The Zero Fuel Weight (ZFW), Fuel Curve Boundary Point (FCBP) and Take-Off Weight (TOW) and their respective indices will exactly match the manual manifest as long as all empty seats are toward the front of the aircraft for the most advantageous rearward CG or the appropriate PIN has been entered.
-- If no PIN is entered, the most rearward derived PIN produced by the application will be displayed in yellow. If you recalculate without clearing the PIN value, you have now entered a PIN.
-- The ZFW, FCBP and TOW and their indices calculated will exactly match the Rev 9 manual manifest form.
-- The minimum cargo limits table, produced mathematically by this application, may differ slightly from the manifest form due to the form's use of large weight ranges (125-150 lbs) per index value.
-- There has been only minimal validation between this tool and an ACARS-produced load manifest.
-- Please be patient after pressing the “calculate” button as it could take a few seconds to determine a solution on some slower devices.
-- This tool is unofficial and has not been validated or indorsed by any airline or pilot group.
-- This tool may only be valid for one particular airline (OO).
Very limited support is provided.
