About Curitiba AudioWalk Android App

Funded by Ministério da Cultura do Brasil (the National Culture Fund), Curitiba AudioWalk uses your smartphone GPS to create an augmented reality of the Historic District of Curitiba by overlaying a variety of sounds, voices, ambiences, music and testimonies of artists and personalities to what you are seeing as you walk through the city's streets, squares, parks and monuments. We have built a content rich material based on different points of view from people who know and love the area. Curitiba AudioWalk is an invitation to discover, immerse and interact with a part of Curitiba. Experience Curitiba like you never did before!

Using the application is very simple. Download it to have access to the entire free content, plug in your headphones and follow the suggested route. There are 14 audio tracks that will play automatically as you walk through each of the city's historic district main sites of interest.
