About DEA Android App
Due to demographic developments, the number of people affected by dementia is also increasing in Austria. 85% of these people live at home and their care is mostly provided by relatives. The DEA app developed by NOUS is primarily aimed at the caregivers - on the one hand, it is intended to reduce their burden, and on the other hand, to increase the quality and competence of care and thus contribute to maintaining a high quality of life. It should help to facilitate and structure everyday life, to network with other caregivers and to offer concrete and individual daily activities. In addition, one receives well-founded information about dementia-related illnesses, has contact addresses and telephone numbers at hand in case of emergency - DEA also enables the exchange or networking with other caregivers.
