About Dead Pixel Checker Android App

A lightweight and easy to use app that will allow you to check your screen for any faults, problems, or dead pixels. Simply tap on the buttons from the home screen, which will then fill your screen with one color.

Colors included: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Black, White

Test for dead pixels:
Usually, a lot of your screen will be cluttered up with UI elements, toolbars, navigation bars and so on. This app will allow you to view your entire screen/display at once without any distractions.
First, tap on one of the buttons on the home screen to launch a full screen display test.
Look through your entire screen twice, once with phone at max brightness and once at minimum brightness.
Once you’re done with any color, swipe down from the top of the screen to exit full screen mode.
You can return to the home page by swiping down from the top of the screen to show the navigation bar.
Test for backlight bleed:
On your phone, turn brightness up to max and select black from the home page.
Your screen should be uniform in color.
You can test for backlight bleeding by looking for patches of lighter color. Some backlight bleed around the edges of the display is normal.
