About DeepTrip in Catania Android App
A DeepTrip in Catania is a cultural app that allows to navigate in the cultural, natural and ethnic heritage of the historic city of Catania in Italy.
The app has been developed within the project DICET (Co-financed by the Italian Ministry of Research: Project PON04A2_D; stream of research activities "DiCeT").
Because of its exceptional position close to the Etna, the biggest active volcano in Europe, and its exceptional artistic heritage, Catania is one of the most intersting destination in the south of Italy.
The app is a guide on the territory with photos, videos, maps and practical info about monuments and sites, but moreover it allows a more exigent user to improve the global knowledge of the less known aspects of the civilization of the city giving access to documents, websites, 3dmodels, etc
The app furnishes contents in Italian, English, French, German and Spanish.
