"Welcome to the official website of Delta Mu Omega, a graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., located in Albany, New York. Our sorority is the oldest (1908) Greek letter organization for college-trained African American women. Since its beginning, the sorority has dedicated itself to sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Our local chapter, founded on the same principles in 1947, continues to dedicate itself to making a difference throughout our communities: local, regional, and international. We draw on our founders for strength and resolve so that we may continue the work and preserve their legacy. Like them one hundred plus years ago, we at DMO, wear our letters ""AKA"" proudly, for they are constant remainders that we SERVE.

The members of DMO invite you to visit our site, where you will get to know us and become aware of the many services we provide. We hope to provide insight into varied initiatives that we undertake. As you visit our Website, see our ongoing service programs and make note of our future events, many of which will be open to the public.
