Destination Laikipia is a concerted effort by the County Government of Laikipia (representing the public sector) in collaboration with the Laikipia Tourism Association (representing the private sector) to actualize our commitment in supporting Laikipia as the leading wildlife tourism destination; preferred choice for establishing holiday homes; the ultimate weekend rest and relaxation destination; the preferred conferencing destination and, the preferred County for unique high yielding investments.
Destination Laikipia will work with the private sector to increase sales revenue and jobs, improve visitor experiences, provide alternative incomes for local communities, decrease levels of conservation threats in areas of high biodiversity, diversify production and increased production for small farms, provide high yielding marketing options for beef and other meat products and overall improvement of sustainability of the destination.
