What’s new in v1.25
Users have had the possibility to link their Master Key to their fingerprint or facial recognition since v1.11, but they may have not taken that opportunity. With multiple prompts to guide the users to do so, it is now easier to make the switch.
Known issue: Because of limitations put in place by Chrome, our Tracker Filter doesn’t work with this browser.

As a Digital ID user, you get access to the latest online privacy tools powered by Privowny.

- Create email aliases to be used for specific (temporary or not) purposes in order to reduce spam and possibly safeguard against identity theft. It allows you to manage your level of anonymity when disclosing your real ID is just not needed.
- Block cookies/trackers at will in order to protect your privacy, decrease data consumption and speed up your browsing experience.
- What Digital ID DOES NOT DO: read, record, store nor keep track in any way of your chats, emails, social media posts, searches, credit cards numbers, etc...
Additionally, if you download our accompanying Browser Extension on your computer at digitalid.privowny.com, then your Digital ID app will unleash its full potential and you will be able to:
- Access the personal data you leave behind while browsing the internet, so you can manage what websites/apps know about you, in order to use this information at your convenience (by filling up forms quickly) or delete it altogether.
- Have an insider’s look at your digital life. Thanks to our dashboard, you will see how you appear in the digital world with insightful metrics and monthly reports.
