About Divvy Android App
Divvy is a mobile application that matches shoppers in the same location interested in splitting a deal (e.i. 1+1, Buy 1 Get 50% off, etc.). Taking into consideration time, location and interests as specified by the user it offers a new service to shoppers. Making it easy and quick to find a partner to split a good deal with. The app uses the phone’s GPS to allow for localized deals to be displayed to the user, browsable categories of deals, with chat and timer enabling easy communication between two users.
Divvy was developed by the Media Innovation Lab (miLAB) of the Sammy Ofer School of Communication in IDC Herzliya.
