This task scheduler mainly addresses a certain type of long-running tasks. Every now and then you need to do something not so urgent but you can't afford to forget about it: pay the rent, buy a birthday gift, check oil level in your car engine etc. Regular calendar is not very convenient for this kind of tasks because the available time slot can take many days. Neither is alarm clock because you have to reschedule an alarm if you can't do it as soon as it triggers. And it is where this app steps in. You can set the 'not before' and 'not after' dates, and the home screen widget will be letting you know your current status. You may also set up task recurrence as you do in your calendar.

One of the great features of this application is the ability to assign tasks to group of people and share the tasks with the devices in the group. In that case any member of the community can complete or cancel the task, and it's propagated to other devices as soon as they are connected. Basically, this is what makes difference with the free version of this app. We respect your welfare, so if you don't need to share your tasks with anybody please consider using the free version. It can do all other things the same way, and it is ad-free, too.

Note that you need the Community Center application to share tasks with your group of people. Community Center is used as data transport over Wi-Fi networks. It's free and contains no ads. Please check it first if you consider purchasing this app.
