Notice of the end of providing and not covered operating environment

DocuWorks Folder will be terminated and not covered the operation environment from 15 May 2018 on.
The function of it can be continued by DocuWorks ViewerLight application.


This is an application for carrying your electronic documents using a handheld device running the Android Operating System. This allows you to download DocuWorks files and other files to view them and upload the files stored in the handheld device, from Fuji Xerox's cloud service "Working Folder", which supports document sharing. By using DocuWorks Viewer Light (Android), you can open saved DocuWorks files with one tap.

●With DocuWorks Folder (Android), you can:
- View DocuWorks, PDF and image files with thumbnails by browsing the folders and files in Working Folder.
- Move and delete files in Working Folder, change file names and create folders.
- Download files from Working Folder.
- Upload files to Working Folder
- Tap downloaded DocuWorks files once to display it with using DocuWorks Viewer Light (Android) (Installation is required separately).
- Move and delete files in the device, change file names and create folders.

●Operating environments
- Processor: ARM compatible processor
- Supported OS: Android 4.0 / 4.1 / 4.2 / 4.3 / 4.4 / 5.0 / 5.1 / 6.0 / 7.0 / 7.1 / 8.0
- Screen resolution: Ranging from 480 x 320 pixels to 2560 x 1600 pixels
- Available memory required for installation: 1.5 MB or more
- Available memory required for execution: 10 MB or more
- Other: Internet communication is required.

Note: Not all the devices which satisfy the operating environments have been checked as to whether they will run the application's functions.

Permission to the Storage is required to access files to upload, or to access downloaded files.

Android 6
・Turn on the permission to access the Storage and Contacts on the device for usage.
・When using the Download/Upload function in the background, the following settings are required.
・Disable Doze mode (power-saving mode)
・Enable Background Data

Multi-window of Android 7.0 or higher is not supported.

●Required conditions to use Working Folder
- You must be registered as a user of Working Folder in advance. User registration cannot be performed from this application.
- The device can communicate with the server via internet using HTTPS protocol.

●What is Working Folder?
Working Folder is a storage area that can be used via internet provided as a service by Fuji Xerox. You can put files in Working Folder and take files from Working Folder through your Web browser, save the file scanned by a multifunction device to Working Folder and print the file in Working Folder using a multifunction device.

* For smooth operation of DocuWorks Folder, the following access permissions can be approved. Regarding Optional Permission, the service's basic features may be used even without approval.

Optional Permission
* Contacts: Permission needed to specify recipient e-mail addresses from your address book for Share Document feature
* Photos: Permission needed to import image and video files from your device and transfer them to Working Folder
