พันธกิจ :
1.ดำเนินการเกี่ยวกับการสื่อสารและเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศระหว่างจังหวัด อำเภอ ตำบล และหมู่บ้าน
2.จัดหา ซ่อมแซม บำรุงรักษาระบบสื่อสารของกรมการปกครอง
3.ปฏิบัติงานร่วมกับหรือสนับสนุนการปฏิบัติงานของหน่วยงานอื่นๆที่เกี่ยวข้องหรือที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
4.พัฒนา การสื่อสารและเทคโนดลยีสารสนเทศและบูรณาการเครือข่าย ให้เหมาะสมกับภารกิจ
5.พัฒนาบุคลากรด้านการสื่อสารและเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศให้มีความรู้ ความสามารถเพื่อสนับสนุนการขับเคลื่อนภารกิจของกรมการปกครอง
6.สร้างโครงข่ายด้านการสื่อสารและเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเพื่อรองรับ การเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซี่ยน
