Most floor plan tools on the market are quite complicated and aimed at professionals, not for the casual public user. DraftYourDwelling aims to allow the general public to design their dream home, without having to deal with the hassle of making a professional floor plan.


Users of this app can choose to make and work on rooms found around the house, be it the living room, the dining room, or the bedrooms. Users can choose from a predesigned palette of furniture, or choose to draw their own.


Users can choose from a set of predesigned shapes for the room, or draw their own one from inside the app. In addition to a predesigned palette of furniture, users can also draw their own pieces of furniture, in a similar fashion to shapes of room.

Users can create however many designs as they want, and when they complete at least four rooms, users can create a final image containing each of the rooms, allowing them to share their dream home with others in a clear and concise format through Twitter.
