About e-Study Traditional Android App

The e-Study Clinical Study has a family of Mobile Apps for use by patients, clinicians, and other health care professionals during the course of the e-Study Trial.

e-Study is itself a pilot to evaluate the methodology of a VIRTUAL clinical trial conducted in patients with Type 1 diabetes prior to performance of full-scale studies. The effect of conducting a VIRTUAL trial vs a TRADITIONAL trial will be analyzed in a variety of areas including study activities, the medication under investigation, medications not under investigation, medicinal product regulatory compliance, patient retention and much more in order to assess the value that a virtual methodology can bring.

There is a possibility that the information gained from e-Study may help others with this condition in the future.
