About Easy GPS Tripmeter Android App
An ads-free, easy-to-use tripmeter and speedometer for measuring speed and distance between two points. Two distance measurements are displayed: the actual distance travelled, and the straight line distance from the starting point (calculated using a formula). Average speed is also displayed, calculated from the distance travelled and the elapsed time. There is an odometer which shows total distance since last reset.
This app uses GPS satellites in the sky. You must turn on the GPS before the app can be used. Since GPS requires your device to be placed in a location with an unobstructed view of the sky such as in your vehicle's windscreen, a temperature indicator is provided which will tell you if the device is overheating so you can move it to a cooler place.
Works with most Android phones.
