About edMe SS: Fort Necessity & French and Indian War Android App
Fort Necessity was built by George Washington before he became the general and statesman we know today. The fort was a part of a geopolitical race between the French and English--a race that would become bloody in 15 minutes in the woods of modern-day Pennsylvania. Blood that would start a world war that would span 9 years.
This app introduces students to the primary sources from that era and curates them with constant feedback. edMe's feedback loop ensures that students actively engage with the material and know immediately what they understood and what they need to review.
