About Edmonton Pride 2016 Android App
Edmonton's first Pride Celebration took place in 1980, and has grown from a small gathering of about 75 people who predict in a baseball game and campfire. Some of the events added over the last 35 years have included rallies, fairs, and of course the parade!
The festival is organized by the Edmonton pride festival Society which was formed in 1999. The society is the official nonprofit organization that manages the organizing and executing our pride celebrations in the capital region each year. The society's mission is to celebrate and bring together the LGBTQ+ communities , their families, friends, coworkers, supporters, the business community, and the community at large in a spirit of camaraderie, honour , pride , and respect
