NOTE: EEG101 does not currently support Muse 2. The use of a Muse 2014 or Muse 2016 headband is required
EEG 101 teaches users the basics of electroencephalography (EEG) while displaying their own brain data in real time. The app illustrates with real-time visualisations topics such as the neural basis of the EEG signal, how EEG devices work, and how signals are processed into meaningful data. Get a taste of 'doing neuroscience' -- taking a look at some murky brain data and trying to glean something meaningful.
EEG 101 is a completely free and open source app, developed as part of the NeuroTechX initiative. Currently only available for Android devices.
