The Eggstra app lets you use The Egg conveniently right from your phone. Eggstra can be used ONLY if you have your own Egg or if you have an account on someone else’s Egg.

With Eggstra, you can keep in touch with friends and family using “Chat”, The Egg’s unique private messaging app that lets you share photos, videos and even full-length HD movies. Chat is COMPLETELY PRIVATE because all messages and content reside on the host’s Egg and nowhere else.

Here are some of the things you can do with Eggstra:

- If you are an Egg owner (host), you can set up your Egg for the first time and you can invite others to establish accounts on your Egg
- Request to participate in a Chat on someone else’s Egg
- Share photos, videos and other content that’s on your phone with others in a Chat
- Share photos, videos and other content that’s on the host’s Egg with others in a Chat
- Even if you are not the host Egg owner, you can initiate Chats with others who have accounts on the host’s Egg
- Watch, listen or view photos, videos, music or other files that are in the “Gallery” of the host’s Egg
- Switch between different accounts you’ve established on different host Eggs, including your own
