Elefante Letrado is a reading platform designed to develop reading habits and comprehension in children from kindergarten to elementary school, utilizing modern technologies.

The platform includes hundreds of digital children's literature books of different genres, many of them with animations, interactivity, and synchronized audio. The books are arranged and curated by age group, ranked in five levels of reading proficiency. The collection includes works by renowned authors (Monteiro Lobato, Grimm Brothers, Lewis Carroll, Charles Perrault) and contemporaries (Ziraldo, Sérgio Caparelli, and many others).

At Elefante Letrado, students make their own reading path, advancing throughout the different levels as they read the titles and perform the pedagogical activities, created to develop reading skills and competences. In order to introduce a gamification aspect, the platform assigns points to the student, giving he/she quick feedback on his/her performance.

The App is integrated with the system that supports the desktop platform; therefore, teachers and educational counselors have access, through the desktop, to reports that indicate the performance of each student, class, school, and school network. This evaluation is based on 15 (fifteen) descriptors, used by Saeb, the number of books read, and time spent reading.

Elefante Letrado also offers the possibility of recording each student’s reading, as well as assigning individual or group tasks, allowing personalization of teaching.
