About EMF Meter Free Android App
EMF Meter Free is the only app currently on Google Play capable of detecting actual alternating EM fields such as those generated by microwaves, household wiring, and appliances.
It requires no special permissions other than internet access for the ad support.
EMF Meter shows the relative strength of the static magnetic field as well as whether the field is static, such as you might find near a bar magnet; or alternating, such as you might find near an air conditioner or hair dryer.
Field Strength high, display green -- typical of bar magnets.
Field Strength low (~0.5mG), display red -- typical of a light bulb or low current wire.
Field Strength high (over 1.0mG), display red -- typical of a high current AC device such as a hair dryer or vacuum cleaner.
This first release is basic. Future releases will have a meter and other settings as well as localizations.
