Encryption does not of itself prevent interference, but denies the message content to the interceptor.
The intended communication,information or message refined to as plaintext encrypted using an encryption algorithm,generating the cipher text that can only be read it decrypted who is authorised to access the data will be able to read it using the decryption key.
An authorised recipient can decrypt the message with the key provided by the originator to recipients but not to unauthorised interceptors..
The purpose of encryption is to ensure that only somebody who is authorised to access the data will be able to read it using it using the decryption key.
