About Engineering Measurements Android App

This application allows you to measure lengths, areas, perimeters and angles of different objects on the plane with the perspective distortion.

The only thing you need to provide to make all the measurements is position of distorted (by perspective) rectangle of known dimensions. In the application such rectangle is called 'Basic Rectangle'

The application allows you:
1) to use different elements for measuring:
- Roulette
- Rectangle
- Open / Closed polygon
- Angle
2) to make text labels (with / without pivot point)
3) to load image file from File System with different formats - JPEG, PNG, BMP with absolutely no loss of quality. (No pre-scaling, no compressing!)
4) to export image with figures and text labels to the image file using different formats - JPEG, PNG and BMP are supported, in case of selecting PNG or BMP formats there is no loss of quality during exporting. In case of using JPEG it allows you to choose desired quality.
5) to work with different images using tabs
6) to use Computer Vision Library (OpenCV) to detect 'Basic Rectangle' figure on your photo.

Upcoming features:
1) Enhancements of the algorithm for detecting of "basic rectangle"
2) Ability to export all figures to DXF file

Since there is no loss during getting photo (from File System or from Photo Camera) it allows you to scale in a wide range (and it makes sense).

The application is suitable for engineering and household measurements.
