About Enigma Keyboard Android App

Enigma keyboard replaces your stock Android keyboard with a working enigma machine.

Encoding:
Use the Enigma Keyboard to send encoded messages to your friends through any Android application. Simply switch your keyboard when you are ready to encode.

Decoding:
The Enigma Keyboard contains a companion app where you can decode your messages.

* Option 1: Simply copy any text into the Enigma App and decode using your rotor settings.
* Option 2: Long press / select a block of text anywhere on your phone and choose the "Enigma" option. This is useful for decoding a message that was sent in another app without having to go through the copy/paste method.

Notes:
* You will need to know each others rotor configurations in order to encypt/decrypt. ;)
* You must clear your settings between messages. Enigma requires the keyboard to be in an initial state before you can use it properly.

Rotor Configurations:
Use the keyboard setting page to configure your rotor settings.
* 2 Reflector Rotor (B, C)
* 2 Fixed Rotor (Beta, Gamma)
* 8 Moving Rotors (I - VII)
