„Neues entdecken“, so lautet das Kongress-Motto und ein Blick ins Programm macht dies deutlich. Bekanntes wird vertieft, aber auch in Frage gestellt, Neues wird zur Diskussion gestellt, getestet, modifiziert, vielleicht aber auch wieder verworfen, weil es nicht zum ergotherapeutischen Grundverständnis passt.
Mit einer Podiumsdiskussion wird das Thema Inklusion aufgegriffen. Das umfangreiche und hochkarätige Programm mit über 100 verschiedenen Workshops und Vorträge zu aktuellen Themen und Projekten bietet zusätzlich eine Fachausstellung mit etwa 70 Firmen. In der Eröffnungsveranstaltung geben Prof. Christiane Mentrup und Claudia Galli einen „(Ein)-Blick über den Zaun – „Neues“ entdecken in der Schweiz“ zum Thema Akademisierung. Darüber hinaus sind die Poster-Präsentation und die Prämierung der beiden besten Ausarbeitungen ebenso Programmpunkt wie die Mitgliederversammlung des DVE.
