Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman, RP – Sanjiv Goenka Group and principal owner of ATK, Sourav Ganguly, former captain of the Indian cricket team and current CAB President, Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman, Ambuja Neotia Group, and Utsav Parekh, Chairman, SMIFS Capital Markets Ltd, along with Spanish La Liga giants Atlético de Madrid bid for the Kolkata franchise.

After the end of their partnership with Spanish giant, Atletico de Kolkata has been rechristened to ATK
