Nothing says summer quite like cotton candy! For those who'd rather not indulge here's a playful handmade choker with loads of style and absolutely zero calories.

Materials
STYROFOAM Brand Foam
Balls, 1-1/2", nine

Other Materials
Boucl/eyelash blend yarn: pastel green; bright pin
Swarovski crystal AB disco ball beads, 30mm, nine
Swarovski crystal 6mm beads, 12 each: light rose bchrysolite bicone; pacific opalrondelle
Silver-plated jewelry findings: head pins, 37; 5mm
Silver beading wire, 30-gauge
Memory wire choker
Non-stick craft sheet

Tools
Rubber gloves
Disposable foam paintbrush
Tools: round-nose pliers; chain-nose pliers;flush cutter; memory wire shears
Foam- and metal-safe quick-dry glue

Instructions

1. Use wire shears to cut nine 6" lengths of 30-gauge wire.
Thread one foam ball onto center of each wire length.

2. Put on rubber gloves. Use foam brush to coat first foam
ball with quick-dry glue. Beginning at one end of ball near
wire, carefully wrap ball with desired yarn, pressing yarn
into glue with fingers and covering entire surface. Place on
non-stick craft sheet to dry. Wash hands.

3. Repeat Step 2 to create three balls of each color, setting
each ball aside to dry and washing hands before making next one.

4. Place all 6mm crystal beads onto head pins and cut pins to
1" length. Use paintbrush to dab glue onto undersides of four
light rose beads. Use chain-nose pliers to grasp and insert
headpins into opposite sides of a pink ball. Repeat for each ball,
using appropriately colored beads. Let dry overnight on craft sheet.

5. Insert end of choker wire through a blue ball. Use
round-nose pliers to bend wire end and attach hook clasp.
Thread one disco ball bead onto wire, and then insert wire
through a pink ball. Repeat, adding disco ball beads and yarn-wrapped
balls in blue/pink/green order. End with final green ball.

6. Use memory wire shears to cut free end to 1/4" length
(NOTE: Never use anything but memory wire shears on memory
wire to prevent injury to self and damage to other tools).

7. Use round-nose pliers to bend wire end back into a loop and
attach a jump ring; attach remaining jump rings to first.

8. Place remaining disco ball bead onto head pin and use
round-nose pliers to bend a coil into straight end of pin.
Join coil to jump rings.
