Fishing-PIPO is an application forThai fishing fleet to report the vessel’s movement and manning of crews on board which required permission and inspection to comply with Thai laws. The shipowner or charterer of fishing vessels can request or notify the government officials of pre-arrival(PI, port-in) and pre-departure(PO, port-out) of his/her vessels including other information for permission or inspection through this application and also automatically obtain port clearance when the permission is granted. The face scan technology is included in this application for user access and for government officials when inspect of the crew onboard by scanning face of the crews to promote safety and security at sea.
