FlightBuddy is an app to provide you with all kind of different information during your virtual flights. You can think of it as kind of a digital kneeboard.

Create a new flightplan by choosing an departure and destination airport. Furthermore you will get a list of airports in the vicinity of your destination you might want to consider as an alternate airport.

If you already took a trip from A to B you can easily load up a route from a previous flight and save yourself the effort to add waypoints one by one. Of course you can add further waypoints afterwards if you have to alter the route.

Now you’re able to access loads of information about waypoints along your route. A route basically consits of two different kinds of waypoints.

Airports
Besides departure, destination and alternate airports, you are able to add more along the route. You get basic information like airport name, location and elevation, but furthermore detailed information about runways. Like runway surface, dimensions, elevation, ils and exact gps coordinates. Thanks to current METAR updates you’ll always be well-informed about the current weather condition at the runway. Head- and Crosswind will be calculated for you.

Navaids
Navaids, like VORs and DMEs, are displayed with its frequenzy and type.
