This application was built to calculate water flow/discharge rates in open channels, flumes, weirs and more.

All formulas have been compiled from online resources such as the USBR water measurement manual, USGS and more

Features
1. Pipe Discharge. This will give the approximate discharge rate from a pipe flowing full.
2. Sharp/Broad Crested Weir. Provides Calculation of Flow Rate Over a Sharp/Broad Crested Weir.
3. V Notch Weir. Provides Calculations to get Flow Rate Over a V Notch Weir.
4. Open Channel Flow. Uses the Manning Equation for Uniform Open Channel Flow in Trapezoidal and Rectangular Channels.
5. Channel Bottom Slope. Provides Calculations to get Channel Bottom Slope for a Specified Velocity.
6. Rectangular Submerged Orifices. Provides Calculations for Flow Rate Through a Rectangular Submerged Orifices
7. Parshall Flume. Provides Calculations for Flow Rate Through a Free Flowing Parshall Flume (1-in to 50-ft).
