This app lets you get your mind off the distracting apps like most social media apps that take a lot of your time throughout the day and diverts your focus from your work.
We are in a habit of using social media every other minute or shall we say that we are simply addicted to our social media. This app will help you reduce your social media usage by making you aware of its use every time you open it. The moment you will open your social media or any app that you are addicted to, Focusmind app will show you a puzzle that needs to be solved before you start using the selected app.
How does it work?
1. When you open the app, you see a list displaying the apps on your phone.
2. Select the app that you wish to minimize the usage of.
3. Now go to the selected app
4. When you open the selected app, you will see three buttons:
Solve a puzzle
I don’t want to open the app
Continue on app
5. When you select solve a puzzle, you will get the arithmetic problem to solve. Likewise, you will open or close the app using either of the two options.
All in all, because this app will question you before the usage of the selected app, you will get conscious before using the social media app that you selected and hence may use it less.
