Fonegard application instantly detects when your phone goes out of the Bluetooth devices range. As soon as that happens, the application sets off an alarm, in conjunction with a Bluetooth beacon. A loud (max volume) alarm starts to sound and there are shouts of ‘HELP, STOP THIEF!’ triggered from the phone.
The access screen is disabled and a unique password is required before access is granted to the phone again. Furthermore, the sound cannot be muted and the password screen cannot be by-passed. Even if the phone is switched off and restarted, the password is still required before the phone can be put to use.
