App overview – FoodSwitch Data Collector App helps users scan barcodes of food items and take photos of the nutritional information on the packaging. Images are transmitted to FoodSwitch team for data entry and processing. Data is collected within a defined work program with a view to undertake research to improve the health of millions. The DCA is only available for use after consultation with The George Institute.
