About For ST Android App

Before purchasing For ST, set-up first EyXAr Notification in Smartthings using below instructions. Must install and set-up the EyXAr Notifications for this app to work, also need to turn on the Accessibility Services for the app For ST after install.


This will enable Smart Things the capability to add voice notifications to your Phones or Tablet anywhere in conjunction with EyXAr Notification Smart Apps. Currently can be configured for contact sensors (i.e. Doors, Windows and Garage Doors), as well as notify you of your family member arriving and leaving your house.

To set-up EyXAr Notification in SmartThings: (workaround pending official smartapps publication).
1. On computer, Go to: https://graph.api.smartthings.com/ide/apps.
2. Login using your SmartThings account.
3. Go to My SmartApps.
4. Select "+New SmartApp".
5. Use URL below to download, open with Notepad, copy this EyXAr source code to your "New SmartApp:

6. Use "From Code" & paste the EyXAr code (the default is "From Form" not this one, select the middle).
7. Save, Publish, select "For Me" (this will create your SmartApp EyXAr Notifications)
8. Go to your Phone/Tablet, launch SmartThings.
9. Then Marketplace and SmartApps.
10. Select "MyApps - here you'll find EyXAr Notifications SmartApps.

Configure the SmartApp based on your preference, to minimize notifications select only the "Away" mode since this is an auto mode change when Smart Home Monitor - Security is set-up.
