The 4 in a row rules are very simple. Each turn each player puts a piece of his color inside a column and it will fall until it reaches the lowest available place. The player who can put 4 pieces of the same color in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins. If no one manages to win the match ends in a draw.

Connect Four is a two-player connection game in which the players first choose a color and then take turns dropping colored discs from the top into a seven-column, six-row vertically suspended grid.

The pieces fall straight down, occupying the next available space within the column. The objective of the game is to be the first to form a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line of four of one's own discs. Connect Four is a solved game. The first player can always win by playing the right moves.
