About Fraction Mastery Android App

Fraction Mastery aims to provide students, from ages 8-14, with all the tools needed to master the topic of fractions and is presented in an engaging and interactive format. The Fraction Mastery App contains multiple levels, starting from basic skills, progressing to more complex and abstract concepts. The App contains three essential components of skills acquisition:


- Learn the skill (notes): Each question contains a help page to explain individual concepts. Help pages contain written explanations and worked examples and are individual to each question.
- Practice the skill (questions): Each level contains questions that enable students to practice the concepts taught. Students receive instant feedback and are able to progress to the next question if they are correct. If a student answers incorrectly, they are given similar questions until they are able to answer correctly. The Fraction mastery App contains 350 questions which are randomised to prevent students memorising answers.
- Master the skill (Skill tester): The final level provides randomised questions taken from each level to help students assess their level of skill acquisition.



Fraction Mastery is suitable for:


- Gifted and Talented students who are ready to acquire skills at an earlier age than their peers. The Fraction Mastery App enables students to work at their own pace in flexible learning environments.
- Whole class use, either as a method of teaching the topic of fractions or for revision purposes.
- Individual students who are looking for an interactive approach to mastering the topic of fractions.
- Students who need support and require constant repetition to master skills. Students can access levels until they become proficient and are ready to move on.
