What is Frainz?

Frainz is a hyper local platform where you can ask/discuss your interest with people around you without sharing mobile number. You can even broadcast important announcement to all the nearby users in your surroundings. It is a messaging service where you can join a discussion or even start your own topic on local happenings to discuss with other users in your neighbourhood. It also allows you to connect with your friends and family members in a secure, private and easy way. The service is FREE* but uses your phone's internet connection ( 4G/3G/2G or WiFi) to send/receive messages from other users.

Public Announcements | The most powerful feature of the App which let the people in your surroundings know what you think they should be aware of whether its a news or an emergency situation. It broadcasts your message in your immediate surroundings. For example within 5 km.

Offers | We enable shop owners to announce offers/discounts on their product/services for you to claim.Since its nearby, each offer is eligible for a redeem within its reach. On Frainz we don't put a burden on our users of discovering great deals around.Instead we make users aware of each special deal in real-time as soon as they are available.

Private Communication | We support having private discussions with your family and friends. You can have either one-to-one connectivity with members or make it a group anytime by including more members.

Secured | All messages are encrypted and secured with SSL.

Real-Time Discussions | The platform uses full duplex web socket connection which makes messaging real-time. We support all types of media (Audio/Video/GIFs) in messages. Contact cards and geo locations on map can also be shared.

Group Discussions | Invite your friends to join a discussion in your locality. To make it effective we allow up to 20 members at a time to participate in a discussion. Rest get queued up and join as soon as a slot opens up.

Moderation | To prevent any objectionable activities in a group discussion, Frainz monitors all the discussions. So that everyone can have nice and interesting discussions. You can also report any message inappropriate which could delete that message and probably ban the user for days.

Localisation | To ease your understanding with the App, we provide native support for both Hindi and English.

Easy Onboarding | We have integrated Google and Facebook sign-in to get you onboard quickly and easily. You don't even have to type anything if you are on a mobile device. Just few clicks and you are in.

Anonymous | Frainz doesn't ask your mobile number or any other personal details like age, sex, location. It just asks for your e-mail to get you on the platform and never reveals it to anyone.

Local Discoveries | Frainz is your source to everything about your surroundings. Join ongoing discussions to contribute or start your own topic to discuss with. You can even ask your queries on local places like restaurants, hospitals etc. We use GPS to locate a user and provide nearby rooms.

Available on Web | Frainz also provides service to join a discussion on WEB. You may switch from android app to your desktop browser anytime and continue your discussion.
