A:There are following problems in Facebook group:
1.Facebook group is a platform for discussion but not trading. It lacks basic functionalities of a trading platform like sorting, categorization, viewing records / other post of the same user.
2.Remains closed / secret group after reaching certain size, due to difficulties in managing the group.
3.Group admins have no control over the group. Facebook group can be deleted by Facebook overnight. Building things on Facebook is just helping it to gave advertising revenue.

To promote and spread freecycle culture, there is a need to build another standalone platform which allows everyone to participate, with functionality to distinguish greedy people and encourage people to contribute.

Q:Is there Private Message(PM)？
A:No. It is designed to have better transparency where all records can be viewed by the others. Instead, you may pass your contact information via "Leave Contact" button. The contact information will only be seen by the post creator.

Q:What if I am poor?
A:Freecycle is a moneyless movement, which decrease our dependency on money in our daily life. I believe we have much more resources than we actually need and there must be some idling resources around. If someone is keeping asking for more by claiming itself as poor. He is indeed mentally poor.
