• Freight World is a wholly Zimbabwean Shipping , Forwarding and Customs Clearing Organisation .
• The Organisation was established in 1991 as a subsidiary of TSL Limited ( Tobacco Sales Limited )
• In 1998 TSL pulled out of Freight World and we did a Management and staff buy out and have since operated independently.
• The organisation has steadily grown from a staff compliment of 25 in 1998 and only 3 offices , to now employing over 100 employees with offices in all major cities and customs clearing ports in Zimbabwe and we are now ranked among the Top 5 Logistics organisations in the country .
• Our continued growth has resulted in us opening our own offices in Johannesburg, South Africa to cater for road traffic to and from South Africa, being the highest trading partner with Zimbabwe.
• In the year 2000, because we operate across frontiers the organisation embarked on quality management systems that are international in character and we were duly certified to the internationally acclaimed ISO 9001 Quality Management System making us the pioneers in such quality management certification in our industry .
• Since establishment Freight Word as a strategic partnership engaged a.hartrodt group for all overseas business representation
