Friend Spotter is an application that notifies you when a friend is nearby.

You can specify which friends to share your location with and which friends to get notifications from.
Never miss it when your friends are nearby.
Make coincidences an opportunity.

Examples of usage:

- Never miss out on a chat, when one of your best friends is on the same train as you are.
- When someone has to pick you up from the train station, calling and texting won’t be necessary anymore.
- Use Friend Spotter to get notified when your child safely arrives home after a night out.
- Don’t miss your crush when at the same party.

Privacy:

- Your exact location is never shared with friends or anyone.
- Notifications will be provided to selected friends, when near each other and vice versa.
- Friends have to be within 5 km / 3 mi. around you to get notifications and see distances.


Requirements:

- Facebook Account (Get a list of your friends who are also using the app)
- An active internet connection
- Compatible with Android 4.1 or higher, most usable with Android 5.0 or higher.
- Location has to be turned on
- Location in Wifi/Network or GPS/Wifi/Network mode; use the latter one for fast initial location finding.
