v1.0
- initial release
Displays colors in immersive mode to allow you to check all pixels, including the ones usually hidden under the navigation and status bars.
Colors included: Standard RGB to test RGB pixels, and white/black.
Testing tips:
Make sure screen is clean to avoid dead pixel lookalikes. Run through all the colors once, scan the display for any irregularly colored dots. Test once at max brightness and once at low brightness to look for backlight bleed and any other screen imperfections.
Backlight bleed:
On an LCD display, turn up brightness to maximum and use the black test. The screen should be of a uniform color. Any large patches of lighter colors mean backlight bleeding. Slight bleed along the edges are normal. If it annoys you in daily usage contact the manufacturer. Otherwise, it should be fine.
