About G-Force Measurement Android App
This App can be used to measure occurring acceleration and deceleration forces in a car for instance during handling testing to find out the effect of different suspension setups or tires.
The App provides F1 style G-Force meter during measurement and outputs the measured acceleration data to the screen as curves after measurement.
The app utilizes acceleration sensor in a cell phone or a tablet instead of GPS to avoid possible problems due to loss of connection to GPS satellites.
The use is straight forward:
- IMPORTANT! Attach your cell phone/tablet rigidly to your vehicle
- Select measuring period for automatic stop
- Push 'Start'
