Galaxy Explorer presents a 3D model of nearly 15,000 stars in nearby space. The database contains detailed information about these bodies, and offers a search function to filter the data, including any of the star's names or id's, and its stellar classification.
In addition to the supplied stars, the app allows you to import more data from external sources, with built in support for the format used by two of of the most popular collections, HYG and XHIP. If this isn't enough, you can also create your own data file, including any fields you'd like to see, and import it into Galaxy Explorer using the generic importer.
Although the built in database of 15,000 stars should run on any device, if you choose to download a large dataset containing around 100,000 or more stars, then you'll need a good graphics chip and at least 1MB of RAM.
This version of Galaxy Explorer Android App comes with one universal variant which will work on all the Android devices.
