This app calculates the gear dimensions using the following parameters:
1.- Module
2.- Teeth Number
3.- Helix Angle
4.- Addendum Factor
5.- Pressure Angle
6.- Face Width
7.- Modified Center distance
The app will provide as a results parameters the main geometry of a pair of gears, the X-Profile requirements, the Contact Ratio and two different Stresses:
1.- Contact pressure.
2.- Basic Lewis stress is provided.
Also the calculated life based on the contact and bending stress is provided. Life calculation is an approximation for a pair of gears carburized with a surface hardness of 58-63 HRC and a steel material type SAE 8620 or similar
