• DT&T (Digital Track and Trace) is a mobile device application that enables user to capture PLC (Product Locator Card) information anywhere and send it to a central data repository easily.
• The application can be installed on either iPhone or Android phone.
What is the purpose?
• The PLC information will be used as initial inputs for building Installed Base in CRMs (Customer Relationship Management System; eg, SvcMax).
• Installed Base need to be created quickly in CRM so that it can be associated to the Installation SR (Service Request). This ensures that installation cost will be allocated to the correct modality.
• It also prevents delays in several time sensitive operations like:
• Remote magnet monitoring
• Revenue recognition and starting warranty coverage
Who will use this App?
• The initial users are FEs (Field Engineers) who will capture the PLC as the boxes are unwrapped during an installation.
• In future, app will also be used by warehouse operators to capture PLCs during order shipment.
