About Geo Data Collect Android App
Geo Data Collect is a free mobile application that is used to assist data collection process, in real time and paperless. The application is a combination of ODK Collect and OSM Tracker application that has the capability to track and plot object around us and to gather additional information of the object that we collect.
Key features :
1. Tracking using embedded GPS
2. Export a GPS track into GPX file format
3. Display map for navigation, display track and PoI from data collection
4. Download a blank form, edit, delete the saved form and send the completed field survey form
Using this application, you can easily perform field survey without having to carry a GPS device and a paper for field survey form anymore.
It is an open mobile application, if you want to explore this code, you can browse the code in our GitHub (https://github.com/hotosm/Geo-Data-Collect).
This application funded by DMInnovation (DMI) of Australian Government.
Note :
Because it is still in the process of development, for the questionnaire you can use the questionnaire from other website such as Formhub, ona.io, KoBo, or Enketo.
