German Licence Plate Codes

About German Licence Plate Codes Android App

This app allows you to search for German licence plate codes.
Furthermore you can use this app to display information regarding a licence plate code.
You can search for licence plate codes using the following search criteria:

a) Search by city/region code
For example a search by city/region code 'ba' returns all city/region codes which start with 'ba': 'BA', 'BAD', 'BAR'.

b) Search by city/region
For example a search by city/region 'neckar' returns all city/region codes, which contain the character string 'neckar': 'BCH' (Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis), 'HD' (Rhein-Neckar-Kreis), 'MOS' (Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis").

c) Search by federal state
For example a search by federal state 'Baden-Württemberg' returns all city/region codes of that state:
'AA' (Aalen), 'BAD' (Baden-Baden), 'BB' (Böblingen) etc.

For each city/region code which matches the search criteria additional information is displayed.
For example for city/region code 'AH' the following information is displayed:
- city/region: 'Kreis Borken'
- city/region from which the code was derived: 'Ahaus'
- federal state in which the city/region is located: 'Nordrhein-Westfalen'

Language dependent display of information (German, English, Turkish):
The texts which are displayed by the app are translated into German, Turkish and English. If the language setting of your Android device is German the texts are displayed in German. In case the language setting is Turkish the texts are displayed in Turkish. If the language setting is English the texts are displayed in English. In case the language setting of your Android device is neither German nor Turkish nor English then the texts are displayed in English.

Device requirements:
The app runs on Android devices (e. g. smartphones, tablets) with Android Version 4.4.2 or higher.
