About GoFenz Manager Android App

The GoFenz Manager application allows vehicle owners, asset owners, employee supervisors or managers and facility managers to track location, battery consumption, fuel consumption (for vehicles and diesel generators), engine running hours (for vehicles and diesel generators) etc in real time.

The following are the key features for Vehicles:
1. GPS Location: It uses state of the art GPS devices to track vehicles in real time
2. Fuel Consumption: It uses high tech sensors (optionally) to track fuel consumption of vehicles
3. Engine Running hours: It tracks the engine running hours for vehicles
4. Theft Protection: It allows vehicle owners to remotely monitor as well lock vehicles when stolen
5. Weight Monitoring: It tracks vehicle weight and helps identify losses/thefts of goods
6. History & Reports: It provides enhanced reporting capability to trend and analyze historical data
7. Alerts: It can send alerts for various kinds of key events.

In combination with the GoFenz Tracker app, the following are the key features for Employee tracking:
1. Location Tracking: Real time tracking of people using GPS or Mobile Tower information. This information can be shared with family, friends or others as neccessary
2. GeoFencing: The supervisor can configure Geo Fence locations providing alerts when staff or family move in or out of specified locations. It also sends alerts when the phone is not communicating or out of communication network.
3. BatteryUsage: The app automatically tracks battery usage and can alert both the user as well as the employee supervisor in case the battery power falls below a critical level.
4. Security: This app is installed as an "Administrator" and a parent or a manager can install this app such that the end user cannot un-install the app from the phone. This secure feature ensures that the user cannot even see the app under his login.
5. Administration: The GoFenz app allows supervisors to track all his/her employees in real time.
6. Alerts: The GoFenz app alerts supervisors in real time on battery levels, communication status and GeoFence Locations.
7. History: The history is stored for a minimum of 2 days and can be extended to any time duration.
It uses state of the art GPS technology as well as Mobile tower locations to track and send information to the GoFenz Cloud enabling configured users to track their employees or family or friends in real time. The app itself consumes very little power and is configured as "Low Battery Use" in Android. It works even when the phone is "Offline" and synchronizes with the server when the phone connects to the communication network. Organizations can optimize on data communication costs using the "Offline" feature.
