About GoHotspot Widget - Hotspot AP Android App

GoHotspot allows to quickly switch on and off the Hotspot (Mobile AP) feature directly from the homescreen and preserves the Wifi enabled/disabled state.

It also provides outstanding visible cue of the current state.

Here's what makes this simple app outstanding:

Unlike most other Hotspot switches (toggle), GoHotspot remembers the Wifi Enabled/Disabled state before turning the Access Point on. When you turn off the hotspot later on, it reverts the Wi-Fi Enabled/Disabled state to its previous setting, thus saving you from turning another switch on to get back on your Wifi network.

Ideal for people on the go. For example, people that commute and want to share their mobile 3G/4G data connection with their Wifi tablet and/or other devices through the hotspot feature.

Note that this app automates and simplifies changing android settings. User should make sure his device, android version, provider and plan allows for using Mobile AP (Hotspot) and Wifi networks. Most do.

Use:
Touch Icon to enable or disable the Mobile AP.

Legend:
Green Icon: Hotspot is on.
Yellow Icon: Switch is processing.
Grey Icon: Hotspot is off.
Red Icon: An error occured, most likely your device/ android version or provider does not support Mobile AP.
