G & V Music was established in 2000 by Getachew Kassa. He has established Music Education Programs for Pre-School and Elementary aged children at a variety of schools. He has been certified to teach using the MIND (music and math) Institute program. He also has private music students (children and adults) who have lessons in their home or in the G & V music studio.

Getachew M. Kassa is dedicated to offering quality Music Lessons in a fun, creative & challenging way based on your Child’s Cognitive, Gross Motor & Development Skills.
Music Lesson will be supported with Technology, Child Appropriate Materials at our Studio, Student’s Home or School.

Getachew will also use a Combination of Pedagogical Technics he learned from different worldwide experiences (Russia, France, Ethiopia & U.S.A)


G & V Music Students will be challenged to do their best, think for themselves and celebrate the journey of learning to play music.

I HAVE BEEN WORKING IN THE FIELD OF MUSIC EDUCATION FOR OVER 25 YEARS IN THE UNITED STATES AND ETHIOPIA.

I HAVE A STRONG EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND. I HAVE A DEGREE: MASTER OF FINE ARTS AND A DEGREE OF PERFECTION.

THE MIND INSTITUTE CERTIFIES ME TO TEACH THEIR MUSIC & MATH PROGRAM.
IN ADDITION I HAVE A SITE SUPERVISOR PERMIT FROM THE CALIFORNIA STATE COMMISSION ON TEACHER CREDENTIALING IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT
